Gold

Gold is the Currency in the game. Its earnt by collecting from your dragon’s habitats, you can also get gold from selling items, dragons and/or dragon eggs. Gold is also available to get from monday reward pouch, the dragon market is a building which lets you collect food or gold and you can hire your dragon city friends to increase the amount that you get. Gold can be aquired from using the stadium which will give you gems as well as gold for winning.

As you expand your dragon city you will find that each expansion will cost 10,000 gold extra every section, all in all there are 4 islands available to get in dragon city and the 3rd and 4th islands cost gems to unlock but you will have to then spend gold to unlock the 8 expansion areas.
